Providence, RI -- GPS Investment Advisors is partnering with Mastors & Servant Risk Services, LLC and The Society of Human Resources of Rhode Island in hosting a seminar featuring U.S. Department of Labor guest speaker Kristy Phillips. Speakers will address the recent legislation impacting 401(k) and 403(b) plans, as well as outline fiduciary responsibility best practices and risk management. Kristy Philips from the Department of Labor will discuss fiduciary liability, what to do in the event of an audit, as well as the DOL's voluntary correction program. Event participants will participate in an interactive roundtable discussion and receive a custom benchmarking of their plan against their peers.

Chicago, IL -- Jamie Worrell, President GPS Investment Advisors will be a guest contributor at Center For Due Diligence Annual Advisor conference, to be held October 7, 2010 in Chicago. Worrell will participate in a panelist discussion addressing the Advisors role, as well as the committees role in determining overall plan health, and how all parties can carefully document their processes to ensure satisfactory fiduciary compliance.
