Jamie is an Investment Advisor Representative and Registered Representative with nearly 20 years’ experience providing retirement plan investment solutions to Employers and individual investors. In 2007 Jamie was honored by
Institutional Investor News as one of only twenty “Rising Stars of Retirement Plan Advisors.” He has advised hundreds of individual investors and Investment Committees in his nearly twenty years as an advisor. Jamie works with both public and private companies and all aspects of their Retirement Plans.
Jamie is a frequent speaker and industry commentator. He has been quoted in
PlanSponsor Magazine, PlanAdvisor Magazine, Institutional Investor News, Defined Contribution & Savings Plan Alert, The Providence Journal, Foster’s Sunday Citizen and has spoken nationally about retirement plans and investments, including before the Boston Bar Association, American Bar Association, Rhode Island Society of CPA’s and Rhode Island Bar Association The Center for Due Diligence, and Financial Research Associates. Jamie has completed training and coursework through the Center for Fiduciary Studies, earning the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation, and through The PlanSponsor Institute earning the PlanSponsor Retirement Professional (PRP) designation.
Prior to founding GPS Jamie was Director of the Retirement Plan Consulting Group for Financial Architects Partners and prior to that spent seven years at John Hancock Funds.

Jamie’s community involvement includes serving as a Board member and Finance/Investment Committee member of Blithewold; Investment Committee member for Neighborhood Health Plan of RI; and Board member and Finance Committee member of the Providence Children’s Museum.
Jamie lives in Providence, RI with his wife and three children.
Jamie is fluent in Spanish and conducts 401(k) employee meetings in Spanish. After college, Jamie lived and worked in Adelaide Australia while playing lacrosse for the ETP Eagles.
Retirement & Investment Planning Manager

Marc is a Certified Financial Planner and Investment Advisor Representative who works with clients to help them plan, invest, and implement solutions for achieving their financial goals and priorities. In addition, he conducts employee education for GPS Investment Advisor 401(k) plan clients aimed at improving outcomes and retirement readiness for client employees.
Prior to joining GPS Investment Advisor in August of 2011, Marc was responsible for directing retirement plan services and relationship management for an advisor and also worked for a large national plan provider, conducting workplace education and individual one-on-one benefit consulting. Throughout a career of more than 25 years, Marc has worked in several capacities including financial management and analysis, sales, and marketing.
Marc lives in Cumberland with his wife and their two sons who are currently away at college. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Rhode Island, Vice President of the Cumberland Library Fund, and serves his church as a committee member.

Manager of Client Services & Investment Research

As Client Service Manager at GPS Investment Advisors, Phil ensures all clients’ needs are met on a day-to-day basis. Phil helps create and oversee each client’s individualized client service plan, and he also oversees the plan’s timely execution. With his comprehensive background and training, Phil can handle and resolve any questions or concerns a client may have about any aspect of their account or retirement plan.
Phil has nearly ten years of hands-on experience in all areas of retirement plans including investments, employee education, plan design, plan testing and plan administration.
Prior to joining GPS Investment Advisors in 2006, Phil spent eight years at a large Boston-based mutual fund company, where he worked in every area of the business, from investment accounts to retirement accounts to company-sponsored retirement plans.
Phil is an accomplished classical singer and lives near Providence with his wife and two children. His interests include choral music and modern history.

Client Service & Marketing Coordinator

Whitney's responsibilities at GPS include coordinating all marketing projects and events, alongside assisting with Investment Reviews, Plan Reviews, Individual Accounts, and overall Client Service. She assists in any way possible to ensure that our firm's operations are run smoothly and efficiently at all times.
Prior to joining GPS Investment Advisors in July of 2010, Whitney spent 4 years as a sales consultant at Nordstrom, and was recognized in the 2nd quarter of 2007 in Nordstrom's
Top Tier Plan, with sales exceeding the department's target while maintaining an unwavering commitment to customer service overall and with personal clients.
Whitney has attended a six month, Spanish emersion program at Lacunza International House (iH) in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain. She has also studied abroad at Oxford University in Oxford, England and has travelled extensively across Western Europe and Asia.

Client Service Assistant
Charlie joined GPS Investment Advisors in the Spring of 2011 as an intern performing mutual fund research. In his role as a Client Service Assistant, Charlie facilitates efficient and thorough client service by assisting in Investment and Plan Reviews. His research and administrative work ultimately helps GPS consistently provide superior client service and attention.
